E.O.M. are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee our timber frame manufacturing operations in Co. Carlow. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our production processes are safe, efficient, and effective, and that our products meet high quality standards. The Production Manager will manage and supervise production staff, oversee inventory management and procurement, and work closely with other managers and stakeholders to drive production success.
- Develop and implement production plans and strategies to meet customer demands and production targets.
- Manage and supervise production staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Oversee inventory management and procurement to ensure that necessary materials and equipment are available for production.
- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Monitor production processes to identify and resolve issues that impact quality or efficiency.
- Collaborate with other managers and stakeholders, including sales, engineering, and logistics, to ensure that production aligns with overall business objectives.
- Develop and implement performance metrics and KPIs to track and measure production success.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and increase efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, manufacturing, or related field.
- Proven experience in production management, preferably in timber frame manufacturing or related field.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, inventory management, and procurement.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other managers and stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Flexibility to work additional hours and weekends, as required.

Production Operative
E.O.M. are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Operative to join our timber frame manufacturing company in Co. Carlow. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to produce high-quality timber frames in a safe and efficient manner. The Production Operative will be responsible for operating machinery, measuring and cutting timber, assembling timber frames, and ensuring that production targets are met.
- Operate machinery, including saws and drills, to cut and shape timber frames according to production plans and specifications.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in the timber frame manufacturing process.
- Ensure that timber frames are assembled according to quality standards and customer specifications.
- Follow health and safety procedures and protocols at all times to maintain a safe work environment.
- Maintain production equipment and tools, including regular cleaning and maintenance.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure that production targets are met and any issues or concerns are addressed in a timely manner.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Previous experience in timber frame manufacturing or related field is preferred.

E.O.M. are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Timber Frame Designer to join our timber frame manufacturing company in Co. Carlow. The successful candidate will work closely with clients and our production team to design and create timber frame structures that meet their specific needs and requirements. The Timber Frame Designer will be responsible for creating detailed drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with building regulations and industry standards.
- Work closely with clients and our production team to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Design and develop detailed timber frame structures and systems using specialized computer software, including 3D modelling and CAD programs.
- Ensure that designs meet building regulations and industry standards, including structural calculations and energy performance ratings.
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for each project, including materials lists, component schedules, and assembly instructions.
- Collaborate with other team members, including architects and engineers to ensure that designs are integrated with other aspects of construction.
- Provide technical support and advice to clients and other stakeholders throughout the design and construction process.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends, including changes to regulations and best practices.
